funds go into your onboard account the first day and are pulled for activities, etc. with your sign and sail card

You can purchase cruise cash in the bon voyage dept. of your booking. Beware it's use it or lose it. You can use Carnival Gift Cards. Or cash at kiosk or Guest Services.
