I've sailed on the Magic a couple of times and I have to say it is one of my favorite ships and I've been on the Celebration, Horizon & Mardi Gras among others. The ship is not too big but it's not too small either and the service staff were amazing. Hope this helps!

We just got back from our awesome cruise on her October 27th, we had no issues, our balcony on the Lido deck was fabulous, there was plenty of food and drinks to go around, i could hem and haw about the little things but they were so minor. We have cruised on the Magic many times and we will cruise on her again in the future.

we sailed on it a few months back and we didn't have any issues. our balcony cabin was also on the lido deck. the entertainment is not as it is on the Mardi Gras or celebration, but we had a great cruise.

Two voyages on Magic and would gladly do another if she’s sailing to places I want to see. Here’s a suggestion, most of the people who will reply are going to be positive. This community protects its ships like they’re their own children. So, you likely won’t get too many detractors. So, take the time to read as many negative reviews as you can. That’ll help bird dog the things people didn’t like about it. You’ll see most often someone who assumed it was an all inclusive or did zero beforehand planning or research. Often surprised by cost of experiences and extras, eating every meal at the buffet, being lost or mobility issues, unexpected port experiences, etc. Once you see the common themes, do your own research and then decide. It’s literally all about expectations. Happy cruising!

We’ve sailed on the Magic 5 times. My family loves it. It’s big enough to have plenty of extras for everyone. We cruise with kids, grandkids and great grandkids. I love that it’s small enough to go to Half Moon Cay, our favorite beach. I have always liked the layout of the Dream class ships. Been on them all many times. I really prefer them to the Vista class - been on all of them as well. I like that the ocean plaza is close to everything like the casino, etc. We’ve never been disappointed in the food but that’s subjective. We like a balcony but the families with kids prefer the ocean views with the extra bathroom.

I've been on sister ship Breeze and lived it. also just got off Vista and they look to be very similar. I'll be on Magic next year.

The dream class and the Magic is my favorite ship. Only issue we had was the staffing seemed short handed on our cruise. I think our cabin Stewart was new and the cleanliness of the cabin was not to my standards (I am also a hotel GM) so my standards are high. This was the 1st cabin I cleaned before unpacking, but did not ruin my cruise experience.

The Magic is one of my favorite ships. We have sailed on her quite a few times and going again at the end of the month for a B2B2B. This is my first B2B2B and to have it on the Magic is so exciting.
