Had a great time. Didn't want to get off. Missed Caymens due to bad weather-so we only got 2 of the 3 ports. But the ship experience was wonderful.

Would suggest a room with an outside view. Our interior room was very dark.

Staff was very nice and helpful.

We did not pack for the "elegant dinner' in the formal dining room. Formal evening ware required. But the buffet dining was very good and a more relaxed atmosphere.

This ship is newer and all amenities are nice. Pools, many hot tubs, many dining options available. There are lounges and bars of all kinds, music and casino or just plain relaxing on deck. 

It was an experience we want to do again. Next year?, Same time?

Loved the Breeze would definitely go on this ship again good food good crew had a blast so much fun I recommend this ship to anyone if you have any questions just ask

Something must be done about allowing kids in all the pools. The overrun the pools, run from one hot tub through the pool to the other hot tub and 5 minutes later they run back to the 1st one. Their parents don't discipline them and they are the ones putting babies in diapers in the pool. Totally disgusting. Carnival needs to have at least one pool where kids are not allowed.

Ship bright and modern

The Breeze was everything we thought it would be. Beautiful, clean and tons of things to do. We had a great time on the ship, and found ourselves to be busy all the time. We ate, watched the shows, went into the 3D Thrill Cinema (every night), shopped, played in the casino, played trivia games, my 53 year old husband had a ball in the Water Works Park along with many other 53+ year old kids, and many many other things. We found the Embarkment to Debarkment and everything in between easy and organized. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only thing we had a problem with, is all of the smoking on the balconies. At times we could not sit on our balcony because all you could smell was smoke. But that was seldom. But I do think somehow the Breeze needs to come up with something where us non smokers can enjoy our balconies all of the time without having to smell the smoke. (Maybe certain sections for smokers!?!?) So that is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5. The food at the buffet was not a big selection but for us it tasted good and we cetainly did not go hungry. The staff very friendly and we did not find any of them to be rude or fresh at all,(as some reviews have said)  if anything they all we very accomadating and pleasant. The Dive In Theater was fun at night for those who enjoy movies under the stars. We can not say anything negative about our time on the Breeze and with that said, sign us up for another 8 nights!!!!!

Good value cruise!  Didn't know what to expect because we travelled after school Christmas vacation.  Thought the demographics would be mostly retired people or childless couples able to travel while school was back in.  Not so!  Ship was filled with children, no matter where you went.  Food in the dining room was quite good other than our first meal.  Made the wrong choice.  Service was excellent.  Interior cabin was roomy for two people, and the staff maintaining the cabins were friendly and attentive.  Food poolside was also excellent.  We didn't try the BBQ as we heard wait time was extremely long.  Stayed away from the lunch buffet and breakfast, also long lines.  Biggest complaint was late in the evening, only choice was pizza, part of the buffet area should be open as it is on Princess cruises.  Heard this complaint from several people.  Entertainment at night was first class, took in all shows including the comedy club each night.  Great way to pass the evening if you don't want to gamble or spend a lot of money.   Biggest complaint is the reserving of lounge chairs on deck.  It is insane that you go out onto the deck at 8:00 am and towels are already clothespinned to chairs reserving seats.  This needs to be addressed.   Second complaint is that formal nights in the dining rooms are not mandatory but only suggested.  Sitting at a table with someone in jeans and a t-shirt isn't acceptable when we take the time to dress up in formal wear to enjoy a special night.  This really puts a damper on what is meant to be a special night.    Overall, for the price I would recommend the cruise line, but just realize you get what you pay for.   Clientel is certainly different on Princess Emerald cruises than on Carnival Cruises.

Last Carnival cruise I will ever take. They say you get what you pay for, this cruise definitely proved that. Food was cold and little taste whether we went to the lido deck or mdr. Finally found the Italian restaurant more than half way through our cruise and FINALLY had a decent meal (of course at an extra charge). The only good thing about this cruise was purchasing the unlimited drink package.

We are return cruisers with Carnival. This was a great ship and great trip. Entertainment was outstanding-especially the stage shows and #RhythmNation in the Ocean Plaza.

The three ports that we visited were unique and interesting. We really enjoyed Grand Caymen. The ship itself, however, was simply a vehicle to feed people who seemed to never want to stop eating very mediocre food. Drinks were pricey, but were tasty. Excursions seemed to be slightly overpriced when compared with independently finding something to do once on land.

The ship was very clean including our stateroom. I loved the ropes course, the entertainment and the Thrill Theater

I had such a wonderful time, the wait staff was amazing they made my dining experience soooooo pleasant and elegant. My room attendant was the best she even took pictures for me every night I would cruise this again.

Carnival Breeze is a wonderful ship. Had a cove balcony close to the water for different experience. Stateroom was nice and new, service was superb, food was out of site. Great variety of entertainment and recreation. This is our 5th cruise and one of the most memorable.

This ship is very relaxing. Despite the size, it handles the crowd quite well. The dining room is beautiful. The vibe on the ship is more like being at a resort...very relaxing. Plenty of places to escape the party crowd. Trivia was a blast. Highly recommend this ship.

Thete was to much pressure on the ship to buy things from their shops and spa. They had people set up all over the ship approaching you to buy their products. People talk about the island people trying to hustle you. I think the ship personal are worse. I didn't get any relaxation. Also they don't give you much information about the islands such as on some islands the shops close at 6pm. Also the ship gives you coupons for free trinkets to get you into the shops. Many of the islands the beaches aren't near by so either you take an excursion, take a bus, or a cab.They talk a lot about the shops but not the beaches or sites. Very sressful!!

We sailed on the Breeze in January and had a nice time. We did find things we liked and didn't. The ship is well decorated and comfortable however the layout is a "chopped up." We have recently cruised on RCCL and Celebrity Solstice Class and found the ships to feel more open with better flow. We found ourselves going up/down or around a lot to reach our destination and avoid crowds. Albeit not as bad on the Indy of the Seas and definitely much better on the Silhouette (also fewer people with a similar sized ship). I liked that Carnival chose a more modern interior scheme with less Classic Vegas style. Our balcony stateroom was adequate and comfortable and our attendant one of the best we've had on any line.  Food was better than expected in the MDR, definitely something RCCL and Celebrity could improve. Most dishes were full of flavor and simply presented with good sized portions. We chose anytime dining and likely wouldn't choose that again. I don't feel Carnival has really perfected this yet and dinners were taking about 1 1/2-2 hours. We finished most of the time missing shows but we didn't really care much for those anyway. The main stage show was well choreographed and set was simple but modern with LED screened backdrops but singing was cheesy, we left early both times we attended. All Main stage shows had click track w/o a band. We enjoyed the better variety aboard Indy and Silhouette and full bands at every performance and good variety of guest entertainers. The pool area was great, Red Frog Thirsty Ale my new at sea favorite, slides fun and wrap around promenade one the best new features for Carnival. Burritos are awesome, wasn't crazed about Guy's burgers, and generally the Lido buffet food was tasty and plentiful although would have liked to have seen more variety at salad bar. We would have liked to have seen the buffet opened for longer periods. It closed too early with longer than expected lulls between buffet and dinner times.  Farenheight 555 was our hit and food and service far exceeded expectations. Sea days on the main decks were super crowded but we did find chairs in Serenity which we enjoyed most of the time at sea. Unfortunately we found the band #rhythmnation the last evening of the cruise by wondering by them by accident. We really enjoyed the lead female singer and stayed to watch most of their show. We felt they were the best of the cruise. Boarding and debarkation were smooth w/o any hiccups,. We carried our own bags off the ship and I think this sped up the process. Overall, I would highly recommend this ship for families or young couples looking for a well rounded cruise vacation. Affordability and ship age were factored in our decision with itinerary for this cruise secondary. We are late thirties and have cruised several times before with Carnival, Princess and the aforementioned. Never a horrible experience and all lines impressed us with likes and dislikes. Carnival has raised the bar with this ship and we would return in the future.
