Review summary

There will always be something that could be better (guests please donโ€™t watch videos or play games on your phone with the sound blaring, itโ€™s very annoying!!) but a cruise will always be something I will praise! This was my 25th cruise, Happy Milestone to me and Carnival make it special.

Embarkation

From the time we were dropped off by the shuttle to setting foot onboard was less than 20 minutes, the staff were quick and efficient.

Ship experiences

Most of the meals were good with a few misses but there were plenty of options when those popped up.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin 12044 was a spa balcony room, we had access to the spa amenities and were given a nice body scrub and slippers to keep.

Ship tip

Cabin 12044 is by an outside access door that LOUDLY slams shut all day and night. The location was great but the constant slamming about drove us crazy.

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Visited the Chaccoben ruins and a gorgeous lake that was perfect to cool off after a long, dusty trek.

Cozumel, Mexico

We did the SeaTrek snuba adventure. It was fun for the non-swimmer in the group but very limiting for the swimmers. Very cool experience though!

Disembarkation

We had priority debarkation and were supposed to meet at 8:15, customs cleared the ship and we were off by 7:40 and on the shuttle before 8 AM. It was smooth and easy, the new digital debarkation seems to be helping.
