I didn’t think many kids on this cruise, but there were a lot. They were fine from what I could see. All in all it was a fun trip, with good times. I’m ready for my next one in March!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Faster to the Fun is always worth the money! Our check-in time was 10:00. I parked at 10:05 and was on the lido eating in the buffet at 10:45.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was typical Carnival. Enjoyed Guy’s Burger and Blue Iguana. Buffet and MDR was as expected. My favorite is always breakfast time. Once I’m full the , I’m pretty satisfied with the other settings.
Drinks are always spot on when you “find” the right bartender and waiter or waitress!!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Typical Carnival onboard activities. I really enjoyed the spa pool and amenities.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Since this was not my first cruise this year, I had already seen most of the shows onboard. So I chose to see the comedy shows, which both comedians were funny as heck and saw “Flick” again. My crew and I also participated in “The Quest” and had a ball!!!! Great, naughty, hilarious fun!!
Children's Programs
We did not travel with children.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
The staff that we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Our faves happen to be the staff that worked in the buffet area and the bartenders at the Red Frog Pub Bar on the lido.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Even though the ship is older, the crew does a very good job of keeping it clean and tidy. I commend them on this.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Great cabin, good location. but that door leading to the waterslide! I’m so glad more people didn’t know about it!
I live near this port and have visited many times previously. There is usually something to do here at certain times of the year such as Mardi Gras, etc.
I’ve visited this port many times, so we chose to stay near the port and shop. After, we went to one of the bars, sat, drank, people watched, laughed and talked. It was a good time.
