Girls trip was fantastic. The only downsize was starting to get a headache and scratchy throat 2 days before getting back to Galveston. Found out after getting back home that we caught covid on the cruise. Several other people that we saw also told us the same thing when they got home. Oh well. Things happen; won't stop me from cruising again in the future.

Guy's Burger is always the highlight.
Tried the Italian restaurant Cucina del Capitano, which was free on Sea Days but only during lunch. Food was really tasty.
There was not much of a selection though on the Lido after hours menu. But what they did serve was just fine if you got tired of the late night pizza run.

Pool stayed crowded so did get a chance to enjoy it.

Enjoyed the shows they had on Ocean Plaza (Rock Band) and the Ovation Theater. The trivia was also very fun. Chrissy did a fantastic job on trivia and made it so much fun.

Cabin layout was ok. Enough room for room on a girl's trip.
They are slowly trying to get up to par with Cozumel. They now have Duty free shopping. This was not a feature on my 2018 cruise. Will take time before they grow more.
Disembarking was actually smoother than expected. I've heard stories of it being terrible but that is not all what I experienced. It went really quickly.
If your Covid symptoms manifested the third or fourth day of the cruise you took it onboard. Covid symptoms manifest about five days after you’re infected. You possibly contracted it on your trip to Galveston. Sorry it ruined your cruise.
Yup, Covid is still alive and well, and not just on cruise ships. Some of my coworkers have had it again recently. Glad the rest of the trip was good though.
