Review summary

Everything was excellent ,except the disembarking experience without all the elevators running. I ended up carrying all the luggage of my party of 4 down the steps because if I waited for the other option of having my luggage taken down for me, I would have missed my prearranged ride to the airport. So next time I will give myself an extra day for a flight home.

If you give an option to take your own luggage off the ship you should have all of the elevators running.

I always set all my luggage out in the hall the night before then make my way to the deck theater with the other platinum cruisers and those that say they are , but aren’t. It usually goes pretty quick after we get port permission to unload.

Wow, everyone complains about disembarkation. On my last Dream cruise, one of the exits was on my deck level so I was out in ten minutes, but I was already hearing it was a big mess on the upper decks. We typically just wait it out and leave as one of the last off the ship.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. Your plan for future debarkation is a wise one. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.

I was on this same cruise. Embarkation was a breeze! We got to the port at 12:30, dropped off luggage then parked across the street. Check-in time was 12:30 - 1:00. The longest wait was for then to check our wine, all other lines were nothing. And as far as debarkation, take the back elevators to deck 4 then walk to the front. We lucked out they were waiting on luggage so carnival employees allowed us to take the elevator down deck 3. I had my luggage so it was helpful for me 😊
