Staff was friendly and did their best working at overcapacity. If selling spots to full or overcapacity Carnival Cruises need to prepare better to handle large crowds. It was our first experience with Carnival cruise and I honestly won’t be booking again with them.

Too overcrowded, the cruise booked and worked at overcapacity making it not enjoyable because of the long lines to get food and use the elevators.

Michael, our room steward was great and deserves a 5 star rating
Ship Quality

The staff did their best to maintain the areas clean despite of working at overcapacity
Cabin / Stateroom
1 out of 5
The staff worked above our floor and the noise was terrible, we were unable to sleep well due to the constant rolling, throwing objects, falling cups/plates/cutlery to the floor, movement of heavy furniture. I called guest services to ask them to ask the staff working above to be conscientious and considerate with the noise but it didn’t stop. We were able to sleep from 12 midnight to 5am (I guess that was the only time no o e was working above our room). Will never ever book in an area like this again.
Ship tip
Avoid booking Room 2396 at all cost. Avoid booking on deck 2 if you can
Over capacity? Never heard of any cruiseline sailing Over capacity. Spring break is a horrible time to sail. The rude adults and undisciplined kids are way to much
Thanks for the review. I would not base everything on a Spring Break cruise. We cruise other times of the year and do fine. We always look at the deck plan on a ship to ensure we aren't right over Casino or clubs or under the Promenade deck or under main lido deck. There are decks with nothing but cabins above and below.
Don’t give up on carnival. When you cruise and where your cabin is makes a ton of difference. Next time book deck 7 or higher mid ship to avoid excessive walking. Best time is when the rude kids are in school. Yeah , I said it.
It sounds like not much research was done prior to booking your cruise. Never cruise during spring break if you don’t want crowds. Always pick a cabin location that has other cabins above, below and around it to ensure it will be quieter.
Appreciate your detailed feedback. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations. We try to always book with cabins above AND below us. It doesn’t guarantee no noise (some people are heavy footed) but it helps. Also I recommend not to book across from a blank wall on the deck plan. This MIGHT be an entry for room stewards getting cleaning supplies or room service picking up dishes, etc. If you are noise sensitive, be two doors down from the elevators. We know these things because we have made these mistakes.
