Review summary

This was my first cruise and I have to say, the Breeze and its staff made it a life long memory for me. Loved it all! Can't wait to head off on the next adventure.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Staff was helpful and made the process pain free! We had the Faster to the Fun package and it really made life so much easier getting onto the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Everything on board is top notch! Try everything! The main dining room every night has such interesting a varied options that you will never be starved for choice. The BBQ pulled wild boar was by far my favorite dish of the cruise and that was just on the appetizer menu.

Atrium Bar

5 out of 5

Staff was very helpful and remembered my drink order and name any time I came around.

Blush Dining Room

5 out of 5

The wait staff is world class and the food is absolutely amazing. Not a night went by that I wasn't spoiled for choice.

Cucina Del Capitano

5 out of 5

The lunch pasta menu is a great option. They have so many combinations to try and are willing to try to fulfill special requests where they can.

Pizzeria

5 out of 5

Fresh made pizzas with numerous toppings to choose from! It's open late too, which is a great bonus.

Guy's Burger Joint

5 out of 5

Burgers and fries, what's not to love? The smash burgers are flavorful and the fries are nicely seasoned. The burger choices are great and the line really moves quickly.

Cherry On Top

5 out of 5

Great candy choices and decent prices! Had more than our fill of sweets throughout the voyage.

BlueIguana Cantina

4 out of 5

Tacos are awesome here! Loved the fresh toppings available. The breakfast burritos have some great choices but the eggs were a little underdone for me.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We booked a spa balcony room and the spa facilities are great! I made my way to the sauna multiple times and just relaxed with the ocean right in sight. The kids enjoyed the hot tubs, but said the pools were a little chilly to play in, but that is hardly the fault of the ship.

Spa

Great staff, clean rooms, and quality service. The lockers in the men's locker room were about half working and half broken off the hinges though. Not sure what the issue was there. The facilities are very hygienic and spacious.

Ropes Course

4 out of 5

The kids loved it! Great on sea days where they can see around for miles while getting some exercise in. The staff did seem to rush the kids along a bit and it was unexpectedly closed without reason one morning.

Tepidarium

5 out of 5

Beautiful place to relax! I almost fell asleep in one of the seats. It's just warm enough in there. Not a lot of chairs though so get there early if you can.

Winner's Luck Casino

4 out of 5

Lots of choices here to enjoy yourself! The blackjack dealers do need a little work on their card handling skills. Had a dealer reveal their cards accidentally a few times and invalidate a hand.

The Fun Shops

4 out of 5

Many shops with a lot of quality goods for sale. It is a bit expensive, but that is expected when it comes to brand name merchandise. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about what their offering especially in the watch shop.

Thalasso Pool

5 out of 5

Great space with skylights and views of the ocean. Gets a little crowded at times, but so relaxing to just soak and listen to the falling water.

Serenity

5 out of 5

Great area for adults to unwind. The bar staff is friendly and happy to serve. The chairs are very comfortable, and it is quiet and calm all around. Great place to read or just admire the views.

Guest Services / Shore Excursions

5 out of 5

Friendly staff who go above and beyond to help you resolve any issues you have no matter how long they've been on their feet behind that desk.

Cloud 9 Spa

5 out of 5

Very friendly staff who were more than happy to show us around and introduce us to all the amenities available.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We watched a few shows and the singing was great, but there wasn't much else going on for me to get into.

Ovation Theatre

4 out of 5

Beautiful theater with ample seating. Could use a few more seats with tables in front of them for bingo though, and the tables are a bit small.

Breeze Atrium

4 out of 5

The atrium is beautiful and spacious, and you never really feel cramped even when it is crowded. The bar inside has very friendly and helpful staff.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
One of our kids was in the Circle C club and we were a bit annoyed about the hours it was open. It didn't seem like it was open enough for her to really enjoy, and when it was open there weren't that many other kids in it.

Circle C

3 out of 5

Plenty of stuff for kids to do, but seemed like it was always closed when the kids wanted to go there. Not sure why the hours are so sparse some days.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was absolutely amazing. Every request was fulfilled in any way possible. They were all courteous and happy to speak with us about any topic. They all knew our names and faces, our habits and requirements. I can't compliment them enough!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was clean and pristine! The crew worked very hard to keep the common areas free of clutter and I don't think I saw a single piece of loose trash anywhere. Every piece of metal was clean and polished even a few days into the trip.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was clean and always in perfect order thanks to our steward. Had plenty of storage space to unpack our bags and hang up clothing so nothing was wrinkled. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony was everything I could ask for.

Ship tip

If you are ever looking for a relatively quiet place to read or just sunbathe, head down to deck 5 and go out on the veranda. There are plenty of seats all around, you can choose to be in the sun or shade a lot of the time, and not many people just wander by.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Cozumel had plenty to do and was a great experience all around. We did the Atlantis Submarine, which required a bit of a taxi ride, but was well worth our time. The shopping around the port is great and every store has friendly staff in it.

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

3 out of 5
Progreso was a little bit more frustrating since it required a bus ride to even get to the main area where the beach is and the line is very long, but there's no real way around that. They do have a nice shopping area right around the docks with many vendors to offer some decent wares at good prices.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
While the process was a little confusing to a first time passanger, the staff really made everything so easy. We checked our bags the night before, then followed the directions and were off the ship in no time!
