Embarkation

Well planned. Fast transit through different stations. Were not able to access our cabin until 1:30 and our checked baggage did not arrive until 5.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
All the food was excellent. We dined at the steakhouse and the Cocina, which there aren't enough words to describe how good the food was. All the food at all the venues was tasty, flavorful and the portion size just right. The attentive friendly and caring service at all venues was astounding. The servers went out of their way to remember our names.
Was disappointed at the Tides bar. Didn't get my pina colada just right. However the
Red frog service and drinks were great. Very friendly, fast and attentive service with very smooth drinks.
Onboard Activities

We enjoyed the hot tubs. Our cabin was above the theater so often at night the very loud music disturbed us. The floor and walls vibrated it was so loud
Service and Staff

Very friendly, knew our names and very eager to help. Christen, our room steward was superb
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Always very clean. Often saw staff cleaning and removing dirty utensils. Some decks need more signs to the rest room.
The chairs in the smoking areas are very uncomfortable. There are hard plastic slats at the back that press into your back and hurt it.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very comfortable. Just the right size for everything we needed. Perfectly cleaned every day.
Ship tip
Be patient with embarkation and disembarkation. DO YOUR MUSTER DRILL
Yes we took an excursion, Best of Cozumel-cool-ture, Bites, Tequila ad More. Sabrina and Chris were very knowledgeable about the town and the history. Very friendly, attentive with good attitudes The Mayan ruins were spectacular and the tour guide, whose name I forget, was super friendly, good sense of humor and knew everything about the ruins. .My partner particularly liked the chicken tacos. Very informative about the chocolate and tequila making.
We wanted to go on another tour of the Mayan ruins but were told it was cancelled. However when on the ship we saw a tour that looked very much like it. We were not happy as this had been something we were looking forward to.
Historic Merida Highlights and Mayan Rum Tasting. Gerry our guide knew the town and history well. Was able to answer all questions. He was relaxed and joked around making us fell happy. Although this was a 5 hour tour, there was no food provided. I realize it is hard to get everything done but it makes it hard for diabetics like my partner.
We seemed to be getting conflicting information on were to go and wait. Elevators are very slow at embarkation/disembarkation. Cruise director's voice seemed very quiet so at times hard to hear.
