Review summary

The crew did an incredible job! They worked hard and did an awesome job. We do wish there had been more communication in regards to why the evening entertainment disappeared (no stage shows) and we had two cruise directors during the cruise- the first one left after the first two days, the second ("Cookie") was quarantined and was barely seen on the last day. We only found out he was quarantined through the cruise's Facebook page. His absence was felt and made for an "off" feeling at many events where we've come to expect a CD. The remaining Fun Crew was awesome, we loved Aretha. The food was wonderful, it was better than the Vista's last October which we felt was not up to the usual standards (I do understand things have been crazy though).

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The updated embarkation process was incredibly fast and easy! There was almost no wait times through each step

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was delicious and the service was top-notch.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
There were very few daytime activities and most of those were trivia. Far too much trivia in my opinion and little else

Entertainment

3 out of 5
While two stage shows were originally scheduled, they were removed without explanation. The comedians were great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the staff we met were incredible. The service was impeccable.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The cleanliness was perfect! The SportsSquare was small though. In previous pictures of the Breeze, including Carnival's website, there was a heavy punching bag on the SportsSquare but it has since been removed apparently. I had planned some of my workouts to use the bag so this was disappointing.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a balcony on the 11th deck, behind the elevators. We occasionally heard the elevators "dings" but only in the daytime. While we were close to the Lido deck, you could barely hear anything from the balcony and never in the cabin.

Ship tip

This is a lovely ship, but while Covid/Omicron continues to rage, take some entertainment (card games, books, etc) for yourself as there were very limited options.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were off the ship as fast as we could walk, we were off before the luggage! (We kept our luggage so we didn't have to wait)
