Review summary

We enjoyed this Christmas cruise and had a relaxing time. The Breeze is my favorite ship. The food seemed better this sailing. Thankful no one went overboard and Covid numbers were few.

No nightly shows and we do not go to comedy clubs or bars. We heard the singers and dancers had Covid.

Service and Staff

Most of the ship's crew were overworked and tired. They tried very hard to smile and be gracious. Woody from the Philippines in the Muster and Blush 3rd floor aft was our very favorite crew member. Basil, our assistant waiter in Blush 4th floor did an excellent job every evening, and we enjoyed him. Alit, our 7th floor room steward was excellent in keeping our cabin perfect and ice bucket full. He always smiled and called our name in the halls. We are so thankful for all of the crew that took very good care of us on the cruise.

We did the Calipso Train around town and found it very informative. The braiding ladies in the terminals were too aggressive. The water shuttle took too long and had to wait way too long for it to ill for the ride back to the ship.

Cozumel, Mexico

We like Cozumel and rode a taxi to a beach resort that had wonderful food, drinks, and massages. We did very little shopping on the way back to the ship.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5

It took a very long time for disembarkation to begin due to arrests being made, but after that, we exited the ship smoothly. No customs were done.

Thank you for the review. Quick question and please don't judge. I have asthma and we have found the cruises out of Galveston to be particularly smoky. Is this still the case? We typically avoid the smoky areas but ine some ships it's difficult to dodge. Thank you for your respectful replies.

Relaxing, needed the get away.. food wasn't as goid as usual. Casino seemed the machines were not paying anything. So I just mostly stayed on the balcony. Till the ppl next door would come out and smoke.. and their children slamming the balcony door
