Review summary

Everything was great and wonderful with the exception of one small thing. We put a restriction on my sons sign and sail account so that he could not spend too much because he is special and one day I saw that he used it at a restaurant but I knew he did not have the money to cover it. Whoever works in the sushi restaurant waited until the night before we got off the cruise and must’ve looked up my sons account and found my card number and added the charge to my card even though I was never at the restaurant. So I guess putting restrictions on the cards does nothing because the workers can be very sneaky and slide it onto your card the night before you get off. I did message Carnival about it but they never responded.

*dispute with the card issuer. I left a word out.... 😂

So did he eat there? If he did, then you do owe his bill. If he didn't, then you need to dispute the card issuer since the cruise line isn't responding. I'm glad you enjoyed otherwise. 😊

No, the restriction was on from the beginning. If memory serves me I think the sushi restaurant wrote your card number down on a piece of paper and then run it later. I have no idea what the workers would have to gain. Maybe it had something to do with stats or maybe they didn’t want to get in trouble. I don’t know how micromanaged they are. Maybe they thought they were fixing a billing issue? Here’s what really upset me though: They slide the statement under your door the night before you get off and the charge is not on there but I was able to check the charges on the app and they put the charge on at three in the morning before we got off and they put it on my folio card number and I hate sushi. Long story short I think the block works for like the arcade or anything instant but anything where they write your number down you may have issues.

I bet he charged it before you put restriction on it! They have nothing to gain by doing that!

Wonder why a worker would do that? Carnival stands to gain a tiny bit, but not the workers
