Customer Service could have been more cordial addressing our disappointment changing our ports of call. If we wanted to go to San Juan, we would have booked a cruise there. Fitness Center? I paid for unlimited classes. Two of us waited for a Pilates class, had signed up. One instructor told us to wait in the "hall". After 30 minutes, we approached the Spa desk with our displeasure being ignored in the hallway while the instructors tried selling the Elemis Products to other customers. We were livid that we were ignored, left standing in the hallway. a Manager refunded the money we paid for the fitness classes. Never experienced this on other cruise lines. We tried making the best of it, but not going to Bermuda was a huge disappointment. I have no desire to sail with Carnival, will go to a competitor in the future.

Felt the ship layout was not easy to memorize. Casino was too close to the specialty coffee café and had to walk through the cigarette smoke from the casino just to get a specialty coffee. We would buy the coffee, and make a bee line for the outdoors and fresh air. Overall cleanliness of the ship was lacking. The safe in our cabin had dirty Qtips inside of it and human hair. After I cleaned out the safe, I put in a clean face cloth before we placed out items in the safe. It was difficult locating the public bathrooms, signs not pronounced. I only used the public bathroom once, was not clean. I waited to use our own cabin bathroom for the rest of the cruise.

As mentioned, safe was dirty I had to clean it out. The door handle to the bathroom, one of the screws were lose - my husband fixed it. Outdoor balcony, continued to receive letters crew would be cleaning balcony, draw the drapes. The few times we sat out on balconey, there were paint chips on the deck, residue on the chair arm rests, and the floor metal drain plate was missing a screw and not securely fastened to the deck floor.
AT the last minute, your Company sent us an e-mail advising due to storm activity we were not going to Bermuda. Instead, we went to San Juan, Dominican Republic, and Grand Turk. Understand the safety precautions due to storm; but the way Customer Service handled our request to book a different cruise? We were told to take it or leave it.
