Review summary

Very disappointing....I was traveling with 3 other couples and we decided to try another cruise line rather than rebook with Carnival. We are platinum cruisers and looked forward to this for a year. Prices are up and food and service are down. Not enough time at each port. I sm allergic to mold and could not enjoy balcony due to excess and I did not have any bleach with me. Our cabin was a grand suite and room steward was fantastic but that which was my saving grace. The desserts have been reduced to tasteless dried out cakes which was upsetting becsuse they look so good they could win awards. It was much simpler to walk up and grab a dessert thsn wait in line gor someone to vut me a piece. I dont know who is responsible for all these decisions they are making but honestly I wonder if they ever think about the impact on us or if they even care. We used to look forward to houng to the dining room and now we are made to feel like we are a bother. Example- they take away tablecloths and dont even provide a napkin under your glass so when you lift your glass it leaks on your clothes. I think the person making thesr awful decisions should cruise incognito and see how we all respond while they change our expectations without warning. Just not fair.

The food has gone wsy downhill and the service was lacking consistency. The hostess did her bedt but meals were served at all different times. You have to ask for everything now ex butter, etc very disappointing since this was my favorite ship prior to this cruise

Room steward A+++ Dining staff in both dining rooms and breakfast were not at all accommodating and seemed to be bothered if you ask for simple things so I am not certain what has changed but it was not enjoyable at all. Had to adk more thsn once and most times never got what we requested

Design was perfect Cleanliness was just ok didnt see people all over cleaning banisters and elevators until the ladt day. They really need to go back to ehatever they were doung before they left for New Orleans because it does not compare to then

Took the tour to St John and we rented chairs for $30 for 2. I didnt mind but we had to return them 45 minutes before our transportation back to dhip because the park closed so we sat on bus for a ling time. If they are going to close early then we should be told ahead if time and brought back instead of sitting on bus

Grand Turk Island

Rented a cabana and was surprised that the price went from $134.99 to $209.99 but still enjoyable. The resl problem I am having is that the port times are MUCH SHORTER AND YET THE PRICES ARE HIGHER. The service at the excursion dedk is awful. The guest service dedk was terrific.

I had same experience with food was not good. And what the heck is that that they call butter, tasted like lard. We ate mostly at Guys Burgers that was very good.

I am platinum on carnival also. After the last few cruises on carnival I have switched over to Royal. Will reach diamond status after next weeks cruise on Royal. You get so much more on Royal for you status also. If you are in a suite you get a lot more on Royal. Food is a little better but not as good as it use to be.

Was on the breeze twice in November. Everything was awesome for both weeks. We're platinum and this is our second favorite ship. They took away the tablecloths years ago across the fleet. Surprised you didn't notice. Which one was the dry cake, the chocolate melting cake, the creme brulee, the smores parfait, the caramel popcorn pot o fait, .... time to switch to another line. MSC will match your platinum status and their ships are newer..more expensive. .but newer.
