Review summary
Very disappointing....I was traveling with 3 other couples and we decided to try another cruise line rather than rebook with Carnival. We are platinum cruisers and looked forward to this for a year. Prices are up and food and service are down. Not enough time at each port. I sm allergic to mold and could not enjoy balcony due to excess and I did not have any bleach with me. Our cabin was a grand suite and room steward was fantastic but that which was my saving grace. The desserts have been reduced to tasteless dried out cakes which was upsetting becsuse they look so good they could win awards. It was much simpler to walk up and grab a dessert thsn wait in line gor someone to vut me a piece. I dont know who is responsible for all these decisions they are making but honestly I wonder if they ever think about the impact on us or if they even care. We used to look forward to houng to the dining room and now we are made to feel like we are a bother. Example- they take away tablecloths and dont even provide a napkin under your glass so when you lift your glass it leaks on your clothes. I think the person making thesr awful decisions should cruise incognito and see how we all respond while they change our expectations without warning. Just not fair.Embarkation
