Review summary

Loved this ship! The only problem had was there was someone in cabin beside us that smoked on the balcony even though not allowed. So didn’t get to enjoy the balcony as much, but overall thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. Staff is fantastic!!!! Thank you To all!

I would have called every time I smelled it. I love my balcony and nobody is going to ruin it for me

Irgd, that would make me so upset. We started getting 4j cabins (interior obstructed view), and have not had a problem since. Someone we once cruised with talked of how she snuck out at 2 am on her balcony and smoked. It's just down right rude.

I complained once and the steward said he didn't smell smoke, so when the alarm went off he checked and said it was the hair dryer, they must have paid him a pretty penny.

That also happened to us, only someone was smoking in their room during the midnight hours. We could smell cigarette smoke coming through our vents. We reported it and also saw a room steward in the hall and had them come into the room. They also reported it and I got a call the next morning Checking to make sure the issue was resolved. Never had any problems after that.

It is a serious issue and we should get a credit. 2 kids have respiratory issues that flare up. They did go to their cabin when we reported it. I felt bad for the cabin steward... he could only warn them & then hotel director has to handle it after him/her. Once they only have a $250 penalty, why stop? They need to readdress this issue.

Ugh! That happened to us in a Cove balcony. People would not stop smoking. We reported it and they only get slapped with a one time fee of $250. We should get a credit for having to deal with it and not enjoy our balcony. Some people are just rude and don't care. But glad you enjoyed the Breeze otherwise. We love her!
