This was my first time cruising and wasn't sure what to expect. The availability and quality of the food was good. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. The shows ere good. The only thing I hated was the smoking! It would be nice if there was section of the promenade and the main deck that was a "smoking section".

Fairly well organized; but, you do feel like cattle being run thru the chutes. Every staffer was pointing you towards the direction you should head to but with a great urgency.

Food and Dining

The food was not as grand as I expected and they only offered lobster and filets on one night. The drawn butter for the lobster was tasteless and watery. Kudos though for the Carnival Melting Chocolate Cake! That was richest, most decadent dessert ever!!
Onboard Activities

The Motor City show was awesome. Saw a couple of comedy show which were good. Unfortunately, the pools were always too full to enjoy. The lido deck had too many children and the "adult" pool looked more like a big hot tub.

Kudos to our excellent dining room waiters: Kevin, Deive, and Gerald took great care of us at dinner! Also, our stateroom steward,Ni Ketut, was the best!

Ship tip
Bring a bottle of wine or bubbly to enjoy on your balcony. I would suggest ordering a 12 pk of water online before your departure to be delivered to your room.....they come in handy for those shore excursions.
The Atlantis submarine excursion was great. The water here is amazing....makes you want to jump from the pier! It is crystal clear the ptrettiest shade of blue!
