I would do it again for sure but will be trying another cruise line just to compare.

There was malfunction on the boat and we were delayed getting out of Galveston by several hours. The itinerary was then changed causing much confusion with excursions

food was not so good . The buffet looked good but was not. Eggs were runny or watery ( maybe to keep them from drying out). And the dinning room food was dry and tuff.

Drink were good. Better if you go to the bar and get your own though. The waiters are getting so many drinks at one time that they start to melt by the time you get it and they get very pushy for tips. They started bringing drinks we didn’t even order just to get us to sign the ticket because we tipped every time.

Our room steward was so sweet and fast too. The waiters in dinning were very sweet and efficieant. The waiters, staff and chef in the steakhouse were the best.

I couldn’t believe how clean they managed to keep the ship with so many people on board. You see someone constantly cleaning and picking things up.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was small but comfortable. We put all of our things away on the provided shelves and managed to be comfortable during our stay. Next trip I will get a balcony room just for the view. If you panic in smaller places don’t get an inside room. We didn’t spend much time there so it worked for the two of us.
I liked the shopping in the port. The lack of five star is the excursion we chose. We went to mr sanchos. I’ll never do that again. The waiters are so aggressive when it gets closer to time to go wating you to pay them tips. I tipped the one who assisted me most but was bombarded with others that I’d never seen asking me to tip them too.
I loved this port. Plenty of shopping. The only bad thing is your bombarded with people trying to sell excursions. We did a private island/ snorkeling excursion that was great. The boat guides were so much fun and the island was georgous!
Such a beautiful place and port. You don’t really need an excursion here because the beaches are nice and the atmosphere is like a party. There are nature trails that are just beautiful to walk through.
Very slow and a bit of a nightmare. Some celebrities were waiting to board so they had ya all cramped up and waiting to cater to chris brown and others.
