Review summary

This was a graduation/anniversary/birthday cruise for our family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 kids in college. It was what we all needed to bond again and get away from our normal lives. I would do this again with my kids/husband in a heartbeat.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We picked the 12:30pm check in time and it was very smooth and quick. Our bags were taken to our room which gave us time to explore the ship and get in our first drinks!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We had the best service in the Blush Restaurant with Ferdinand, Dhanis and Napoleon. They were top notch. We explored all the other places to eat (did not care for the BBQ) but Guy's burgers were very good. We ate every night in the Blush Restaurant due to the menu selection and the staff.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We had an amazing time at all the shows in the Ovation Theater as well as competing amongst ourselves in different forms of trivia in the Ocean Plaza. We visited many comedians in the Limelight lounge and played board games/cards in the Library Bar. We loved sitting in the Breeze Atrium listening to music and dancing.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All the entertainment was amazing, creative and fun to watch.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Both the restaurant staff and the stewards were very friendly and attended to our every need. They gave us advise on what to do and what was coming up the next day.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was clean and any restroom we visited was very clean as well.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a balcony with 4 people and it was roomy enough for us. Can be a little tight but made spending time with the family more enjoyable.

Ship tip

Please check port times. We were not told that Cozumel was an hour ahead of the ship time so were an hour late to our excursion. Also for Belize, the tender process is VERY time consuming. Just getting a ticket to get on the tender was a mess up in the limelight lounge. I would book an excursion time in Belize that is later if possible to allow the mess to clear up. The line to get on the tender at the end of the day was very long and caused the tenders to run past their stop time.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

Great place to hang out, very touristy though. Had a great excursion in the Discover Mexico Park, drinking tequila, making chocolate and eating tacos!

Belize City, Belize

4 out of 5
Very crowded, long lines to get on tender. Excursions start early due to the length of time it takes to get places so it is very chaotic. Everyone seems to finish at the same time so the tenders back take a while as well.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
This was a very easy port. We were picked up by private taxi, had a 3 hour snorkeling tour (we were the only ones there) and then had drinks and lunch on the private beach before heading back to the ship. This was our best stop on the trip.

Disembarkation

Lines through custom were long but getting off the ship was very organized and Schwartz was very detailed in his instructions on what to do.
