Review summary

I had a awful time on the ship. Most of the staff were unfriendly. In almost every single bath room a old fashioned hand dryer was broken. The ship only had two crowded pools. The buffet closed early so if you were hungry after 2:30 and before your dinner time there was only pizza or room service. The teen clubs were poorly organized. The only way to find out their activities is to physically walk to the club and read the schedule. Also the teen club staff seemed to hate there jobs. The bartenders were only focused on tips so i got passed up multiple times because i was ordering a soda. The design of the decks are awful there are many decks were there are points that you cant get thru. Which is very frustrating when trying to go places. The housekeeping staff was lazy and didn't change our third bed back into a couch each day.

The activities were inappropriate for the age levels like fingerpainting for the 15-17 club. Also the staff was rude and dismisive. The schedule could only be found out by physically checking the clubs door.

There were some great staff like our dining room staff but for the most part the staff was just doing there baseline job.

Ship Quality

It had no design wow factors. The decks were hard to navigate. The ship felt very much that it was ready to be going into dry dock.

Cabin / Stateroom

I loved the two bathrooms. It was great to be able to shower two people at once. The window actally was a bay window. My kids loved climbing in it and watching the water. It was also big enough for large adults to sit in also. Only down side is only two power outlets in the cabin.

Ship tip

It is fine if you dont know anything about cruising or fine dinning. Though if you do you will see lots of flaws and disappointments in the ship.

They didn't put hair dryer in the bath room!they put in the first drawer below the dresser!

We thought dryer was broken before but found they were not plugged in all the way you have to make sure they are even if they look plugged in it is not.

Went on same cruise at same time and thought it was great. They have maps of the decks so you can find your way around the ship there are 15 decks and only deck 3 has a place you cannot get through. All other decks you can go from front to back of ship. The deli and pizza are always open and guys is open until dinner.

We travelled on the Breeze six months after it was launched in 2012, it was our first cruise and I have to say I did not encounter anything like you've described. The staff went over and beyond expectations, the ship was beautiful and there was always an abundance of food 24/7. We are now taking our second cruise in 20 days on the Carnival Spirit to New Caledonia and cannot wait!

The food places on the lido deck were open from noon-6. There was plenty of food options. You maybe should've took advantage of the hub app if you didn't. I felt staff was very friendly. Sorry you had a bad experience.

I'm sorry you had such a rough experience. The HUB app and Fun Times are great for knowing what is going on. On the app you can highlight the events you are interested in and your phone will alert you. They have extra Fun Times at guest services if you want to carry one with you. We were never hungry and always found something to snack on or meals. Familiarize yourself with the ship and that should help. There are also deck plans on the HUB app that come in handy.

The hub app has the information on all food option, locations and operating hours, as well as the kid club information. I'm also pretty sure that it was at least touch upon in the fun times paper.

Sorry you had a bad time... Did you report the broken hand dryers? Was the guys burgers closed as well as the deli after 230 (they weren't on our trip)? The house keeping staff usually keeps beds made since they never know when you might want a nap.. If you asked, I'm sure they would have made it for you. Youth schedules are only posted in the clubs to insure only participants have access... Don't want a potential creeper knowing what the schedule is!
