Review summary

Been on several other cruises and this was the first on a more family focused ship. Lots of kids running around. Most were well behaved. There were always activities. My other cruises had much more down time with activities mostly in the evenings so this was a nice change. Thought the food was pretty good considering they are feeding around 4,000 people. Did the chef's table and it was amazing!  Superb food. Be ready to eat a lot!

the sushi was great but the open hours were so limited it was hard to get any.

Crew were great. Very friendly and did their best to make people happy. Always amazed that they can learn names so fast.

The thrill theater was very fun. Didn't know what to expect and we all screamed at times.

The movies out on deck were great. Lots of variety and good choices.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Had better food on smaller ships but we thought it was pretty good.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
So many activities it was hard to get to everything we wanted to do.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Only got to see the magicians for a workshop but thought they were great. Movies on the deck were good and fun.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All crew were friendly and helpful. Amazed how they knew everyone's names.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Crew were constantly cleaning things. Thought they did a good job. Thought the ship layout was nice too.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Thought it was good. Had read reviews saying the rooms were hot and stuffy but ours wasn't at all. It was down right cold at times.

Ship tip

Definitely a family ship so there are kids running everywhere. If you want quiet and more elegance you will want a different ship.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5

Montego Bay, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Do an excursion. The country can be a bit scary away from the controlled environment of an excursion.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Beautiful place. Do a water activity. So much to see near the barrier reef.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Another beautiful place. Do the Amazing Cozumel Race. Very fun and you get a tour of the old downtown.

My same question about my bad knees but you all answered it for me.I have only had one bad muster drill and that was on the Conquest back in 2007 and maybe if I would have told them they would have let me sit somewhere. We even had to bring our life jackets to that one.

Our muster was in the auditorium. Not sure where others went but guessing they got to sit as well.

I was on the Breeze early this year and they did it in the theatre so everyone was sitting I hope that answer your question and have fun cruising

That's the way I remember it was on the Magic so hopefully it is in the dining rooms and different auditoriums. Thanks for the information

When I was on the Breeze last September, our muster station was in one of the dining rooms. However people wee at different parts of the ship.

Yea I was on freedom last year and they let several people sit in a separate room while they did there drill. Hope they let you sit. I am sure they will. Good luck

cannchak    8 years ago

Awesome thanks so much. They did that on Te freedom as long as one person went from each cabin so we will try that again

rebeccareddin    8 years ago

If it is standing and you tell them they will let you sit somewhere while they do there drill and count you from there.

When you did the muster station was it sitting in an auditorium or standing? I have a bad back and knee and just wondered how they do it on the Breeze.
