Review summary

Our cruise experience was great once we got to the Carnival station at the airport.  After having great difficulty getting to Miami due to airline cancellations for mechanical failure once we got to the Carnival station our minds were put at ease after working with a nice lady named Cindy Allen.  She did everything that she could to reassure us that we would make it to the ship on time.  She stayed after her shift to help us get to the boat.

The cruise itself was lots of fun.  There were all sorts of activities going on daily.  The staff on the cruise were always very helpful and Raymond and Pucu and others were excellent at serving us during our mealtime.  During the day I'd recommend eating at the Guy's Burger Place.

New Year's Eve was one I won't forget.  What a neat place to celebrate!

Room was nice and clean. Enjoyed inner room. Less rocking of the boat.

Ship tip

When sleeping on the 1st or 2nd floor you do not need to go upstairs to get off the ships at port. You end up going right back down to your floor but in a long line waiting.

It's worth the price of a hotel room not to be stressed out and rushing around the day of the cruise.

I'm glad it turned out ok for you. Starting your vacation frustrated is no fun. The lesson learned here is to fly in the day BEFORE your cruise. The ship won't wait for your late arrival. Luckily, Cindy was able to help you, but that situation could have easily turned sad and ugly. I hope you'll save yourself the stress, and fly in the day before your next cruise.
