Review summary

Kids enjoyed the water slide but that was it.

Pools were small and overcrowded, food selection was bland. Felt mislead by all the restaurants advertised. Mexican and Indian were open for very limited hours during the day. Guy's burger joint closed at 6. And the BBQ food stand was open for a total of 6 hours on an 8 day cruise. Open for 2 hours only on sea days.

The dinner menu had steak options for purchase, if I wanted to purchase a steak I would have went to the steakhouse. The Captains Italian restaurant was also an option for a fee. As was the Sushi bar. And if you're hungry after 10 the only option is Pizza which is open for 24 hours and will have a long wait.

There were hardly any vegetable options and fruit options.

Food throughout the cruise felt very cheap with plenty of potatoes to eat. There were plenty of people upset with this cruise.

We had a group of 19 people, and I was the one pushing to go on this ship and rooting for Carnival the "Fun ship." Well this sailing left such a bad experience I have questioned weather I would ever go on another cruise again. If I do it would most definitely not be on Carnival.

The best parts of this ship was the staff and the debarkation. After the 4th day I was ready to come home.

Cabin was noisy at night being under the lido deck. When they move chairs around at night we were awakened a few times. Sounded like they were stacking and sliding the chairs to clean up.

How unfortunate that you didn't enjoy this ship. I took it transatlantic a few years back and I still have such fond memories. In fact, it is my favorite Carnival ship.

If Carnival doesn't please you, you are in luck because there are other cruise lines out there for you to try, NCL, RCCL, HAL, Costa, Princess, etc. I hope that you find one that you like.

I have never heard such a bad review about anything. sound like you just don't want to have fun, some people aren't ment to enjoy life.

Wow...what a complainer...would hate to cruise with you. We have been on the Breeze, and will be on her again next month. Didn't have one complaint, and food wise, not sure what you are talking about... there was more then enough fruits/veggies to pick from, we even traveled with a vegetarian, and she had tons of options. There's also room service 24hrs. As for you kids only enjoying the waterslide....There us so much more, not sure how old they are...but my son was NEVER bored....btwn WaterWorks, Sports Deck, Thrill Theater, Camp Carnival, he was always busy!! Maybe cruising just isn't for you, or your kids.

If all your kids liked was the water slide I think they are probably spoiled rotten! My kids begged me to book another cruise with Carnival ( which we did and had an equally good time) By the sound of your letter you probably would have been happier on Cunyard!!

My kids didn't have enough time to do all the things they wanted to do everyday! So much for them to do! They absolutely loved Camp Carnival and Night Owls! Begged to go to it everyday!

I was on Breeze about 3 weeks ago. Best Carnival ship we have ever been on. Don't have any complaints....well except the Comedy Show needs to be housed in a bigger venue. It was standing room only in the Limelight Lounge every single night! Awesome comedians! I have no complaints bout the food. I ate like a pig and was mad that I couldn't eat more!!! Too full!

the kids only enjoyed the wayer slide? I don't know how old your kids are but there is so much for kids to do! What about the camp, sports square, waterworks, thrill theater and arcade? There wasn't enough time for my daughter to do all she wanted and we haven't even been on the Breeze yet!

Some people are never happy we have been on 5 cruises and loved every one of them you sound like a complainer if I've ever heard one! I recommend you don't cruise question answered suck it up butter cup

Room service is 24 hours as well as the deli on Lido. We loved the food and thought there was more than enough to choose from.

Well I have word that MIAMI is sad they are loosing the BREEZE to GALVESTON next May. It has been said they love it there.

veggies and fruit: on every MDR menu I've seen in 12 cruises. On Lido is the salad bar, cooked veggies, fruit available for all meals on dessert bar. I really don't think you did your due diligence when researching this ship.
