A great ship

Sail Date: December 15, 2013

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Balcony

Cabin: GUAR

The crew was excellent. The food was amazing and the activities were fabulous. There was so much to do and see that I felt like I was going to miss something. The water slides, mini golf and the ropes course kept our kids busy all day. They had the best time going back and forth between all of them (OK, I liked them, too). With two sea days they had plenty to keep them (ages 11 and 13) busy the whole time.

The food was great with options changing often. The Blue Iguana burrito bar was incredible and the Taste Station is a "must do". Guy's Burger Joint was just as good as all of the reviews say it is.

Ship Quality
Fairly new, great condition
Food and Dining
The dining rrom took almost two hours, each night, but the food was very good.
Cabin / Stateroom
Evrything was in perfect condition. Loved the balcony
Service and Staff
Very friendly. They even called us by name.
Entertainment
So much to see and do, only criticism is that several sections of the ropes course were closed because they were worn out.
Children's Programs
Onboard Activities
Our family loveed the Hasbro show. My son was even picked to play on stage
Destinations and Excursions
Could have skipped Grand Turk, but Ocho Rios was great.
Miami, Florida
Grand Turk Island
It was like being taken to an outlet mall with a beach
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Lots to do and see. If you want to go to Dunns River Falls, catch a taxi outside of the Taxi Compound and it will be half price.
Nassau, Bahamas

Tip

Make sure you pay attention to the special food events that are going on. The daily Taste Station is a must do and the special chocolate bar was impressive.
