The ship itself is a nice ship. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very attentive. We have cruised on carnival ships twice before and loved them. In my opinion for what we were looking for, It was a 25th wedding anniversary trip, this ship had too many people and quite a few children. We cruised late January which is normally more of a "grown up" cruise so I was surprised by all the children. We were on the first floor and walked the 10 flights of stairs to the lido deck frequently due to lack of elevator space. Beach chairs were crammed together and always busy so fun days at sea were not so much fun. They changed the venue of the comedy acts to a lounge and with almost 4,0000 people on board finding a seat or standing room was difficult to impossible unless you arrived at least 45 minutes or more beforehand .They use to have these acts in the theater where there the seating is adequate For both pools they only have one area to hand out the towels, if you used the pool in the back you had to walk through the dining area to receive or return your towels. In all I think for families with younger children this is an excellent ship. There were plenty of activities for children though we also used the water slides and played mini golf. For two older people wanting to relax more I preferred the Liberty and the Legend.
