Q: We r lvg on the Breeze in one month. We live in Galveston, has anyone done their Covid testing at UTMB and if so, was it a quick turnaround?

A: We live in Galveston too. We have cruised three times since having to take a test. We go to West Isle Urgent Care in 61st. It takes 15 min and they fill out a paper the cruise ship accepts.

A: UTMB is normally very fast. I have had about 6 tests done prior to several outpatient procedures.

A: No extra cost for the Serenity Area. Must be either 18 or 21 yrs of age to use. They supply yellow towels there instead of the blue ones from your room. You will have to sign for those so turn them in when done or you will be charged. (You can take y... our blue ones if you wish). Can get crowded on sea days or right after everyone comes back on ship.See More

A: IMO it’s not worth it with the changes they have made! There were a lot of comments about how fast it was. I used VeriFLY when boarding. That takes care of a vaccination information and your Covid test results. We didn’t show our passports when disem... barking. They used the smile and go technology. It might be worth it if you need to get off early at the ports for excursions. I got off the Breeze on Thursday.See More

A: Along with the other answers, you get priority dinner reservation, priority tender boat. You used to get access to your room sooner as well. it's not worth buying now. check in is smoother and faster. Everyone's room is ready at the same time.
