Review summary

Cruise embarkation was officially delayed due to a previous cruise norovirus outbreak. Embarkation went smoothly. Ate lunch in Coral dinning room, it was great. Food in Palm dinning room was great and service was outstanding. Ship was clean and measures kept in place to keep everyone healthy. Buffet was served by staff. Public restrooms constantly being cleaned. Ship is older, but we thought the decor and upkeep were better than most older ships we’ve been on. All ports were visited. Entertainment was ok. We had a wonderful time. Cabin was a mini suite and was very spacious. We had a leak in our ceiling, it was repaired quickly. This was our first Princess cruise. We booked another cruise while on board. We loved not having to sign for our drinks. Medallion worked well, no issues. Highly recommend this ship.

I have a question. Does anyone know of a hotel in fort Lauderdale that offers free 7 days parking and free shuttle to cruise port?

Princess use to have a ticket more like a POS printing at the bars and shops which you signed when you left a bar or shop…Princess kept one and gave you one. Believe that’s what they were referring to as signing for drinks.

The Caribbean Princess was the worst ship (Oct 2018) we ever sailed on as far as the room and a few other things. Sounds like they have her mostly fixed up. Glad your trip was great! (Sign for drinks? Never heard of that….)
