Been there. Done that. Too many times.
All Caribbean cruise ports are the same. T shirts, 'approved' shops. Same old hustle everywhere. It soon becomes less vacation and more of an endurance test.

Breakfast sausage links were so tough they couldn't be cut with the provided knife. For three days I swear the same tray was served. The sausages were as tough and dry as jerky and there were many negative comments from others.
To accompany the jerky, similar potato cakes were served as 'hashbrowns'. Overcooked, dried out and tasteless.
Finally, there was the corned beef hash which was a dull tasteless grey/black. It didn't look like the bright, fresh pink of all corned beef I have had in the past. And the potatoes in the corned beef I have always had were very distinct.
The offering looked like it had been recycled many times and finally ended up as a dull, grey mush.
Other items on offer were in small goblets and were for the most part good to very good. Some of the veggies in a cup were pretty tired though. Again recycled too many times.
GF bread was available on request, but was of the tastless variety and toasted to a toughness level. Overall, the buffet was quite small compared to a Celebrity cruise taken immediately following this Princess cruise. For comparison, the next Infinity cruise Buffet was probably five times as large with many, many more offerings including numerous GF breads, muffins, and deserts, etc.
Specialty restaurants in general were good to very good and Sabatini's made most any special dish to accommodate GF needs. Hats off to the chef for his excellent acommodations!

Didn't do the pools and the rock climbing walls.
Come to think of it, didn't do the fitness centers either. Just relaxed and read two good books.

At 73, I'm old and crochety. I try to avoid screaming rug rats. Why do I have to justify this?

Waiters, etc. were overall good to excellent.
However, the CD was absolutely nauseating.
I appreciate your honesty. Cruising is different after the pandemic and as much as I try to remember that…I still want a good quality experience for my money.
I’ve never heard anyone complain so much about being in the caribbean. Theres always something to do somewhere on the islands. I also can’t believe someone isn’t content with the buffet. I’ve been on the ship for ten days and always find something to eat no problem.
The smaller Celebrity ship had a buffet five times the size of the Princess ship? I'm calling it. The Princess ships often have a small buffet at the back of the ship. Perhaps you mistook that for the main buffet... All the main cruise lines spend almost the same amount of money per passenger on food. So if Celebrity really had an incredibly large and elaborate buffet, that would mean they would have to serve significantly less somewhere else.
