Great belated honeymoon cruise ! We enjoyed every minute. The cruise wasn't perfect but it was still a blast !!

Main dining room was 8/10. Many other passengers were complaining but we enjoyed ours. Buffet was pretty bad. Breakfast buffet was better than lunch buffet. The lunch was equivalent of high school cafeteria food. The noodle dishes were crusty and hard. Oh well, we didn't starve 😂😂
Onboard Activities

Pools were always a fun time. The hot tubs were cold bath water temperature... only 1 out of the 4 we tried was hot. Definitely room for improvement... my husband enjoyed the bean bag toss and ping pong.
Entertainment

The theater shows were pretty rough. Many passengers just up and left in the middle of the shows. The 1st night was pretty bad. Looked like no one even practiced. Felt very high school-ish.. the live music was great. Steel drums were amazing 👏 we really loved the live music at crooners.. just wish there was more music going on.

Service was either great or terrible. Some waiters were happy and pleasant, others seemed depressed. Not the princess I've come to love but that's okay we made the best. . To get a drink you will wait 20 minutes and fight a line of people trying to cut in front of you. Yikes 😳😳 wish people were more relaxed on vacation 😬
Ship Quality

Overall it was clean for an older ship. . Some toilet lids in lady's rooms were off the hinges and broken. Also the smell in certain areas was nauseating. Some hallways were so bad you had to hold your breath. Luckily ours didn't stink and we were thankful.
Cabin / Stateroom

We were in A625. Sounded like bowling balls above us lol guess I booked the wrong room. Service was great in the room. Toilet stopped flushing day 5 but was fixed by day 6.
Ship tip
Just be thankful to be on vacation after covid. Everyday just be appreciative and spread positive vibes. Everything isn't perfect but it's still worth it.
The burgers were okay on the island. The hot dogs were honestly disgusting and squishy like they had been soaking in water for 2 days. They were like sponges 😂😂. The side dishes were really bad too... But the beach itself was great and the sting ray encounter was 10/10 a total blast ! The reggae band was awesome too. The food was 3/10 but everything else at Princess Cays was 10/10 for us.
St. Thomas was beautiful, fun and a great experience! We booked the st. John's catamaran/snorkel with Princess and ended up having to wait 20+ minutes for 1 late person! That's very disappointing that 49 people had to wait for 1 hungover person that "slept in" as she said. Princess really needs to stick to their excursion times ! If the excursion leaves at 11:00 we shouldn't have to wait til 11:25 and lose out on our snorkel time because of 1 inconsiderate person 😒 ..we did see a turtle and sting ray, the catamaran itself was great it was just the shuttle to get there that was a disappointment.
Glad you could enjoy it despite so many issues. I was just on the ship before the drydock and it sounds like she was in much better condition then and somehow they forgot how to cook. Too bad.
