Review summary

I have been on over 20 cruises, tried many different Lines. Princess was not the best. Food, entertainment was very lacking...

Embarkation

3 out of 5
forced to pay $100 pp for covid test because of needing results within 48 hour timeframe. but because of Holiday, - and our flight travel, 48 hour result was impossible!

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

great cabin. roomy, clean, plenty of storage space

Ship tip

learn the Medallian app as soon as you board. It can be a usefull tool. I had problems with mine because of the spelling of my name so it took 3 days before I could fully untilize the app

It certainly takes some planning to get covid tests before a cruise but it can be done. I had to get them on New Years Eve and managed to schedule free ones at Walgreens. At worst the eMed kits are $25.

Thanks for the review.

Was on that ship 3 weeks before. First, the emed.com tests have been around for months so the cost was your choice for bad planning. I agree on the generally lack luster food, however the elegant night beef wellington and lobster tail and escargot was the best meal I ever had in 147 nights of cruising. The shows were by far the best I have ever seen, anywhere, period. Their guest sapprano was a treasure.

I haven't had any issues with Princess on the Majestic

Again, you chose to cruise in a pandemic, by making that choice you signed up for whatever came your way
