What a great vacation. A few hiccups at first. But most issues we’re worked out within a few days. Love this classic cruise experience with great service and relaxed yet not boring vibe

Love this classic cruise ship design. Lots of places to relax and see the ocean. Decor maybe a little dated in places but was welcoming and homey. I thought it was in great shape considering the extended down time

Wonderful aft corner balcony location. Room layout is great. Plenty of closet space. Bathroom is a little tight. No strange smells and everything functional. Bed was very comfortable. Some paint drippings on the deck and a little dusty on the first day. Room steward was friendly and effective.
Post cruise visit to a Gator sanctuary with a demonstration and 30 minute airboat ride. It was busy due to being Sunday and at least 2 other ship excursions. Would have preferred a longer boat ride. Next was flamingo gardens and it was beautiful but only an hour to enjoy. We could have easily spent the whole time here. Bus service was friendly and dropped us off at the airport
We did 2 excursions due to protocols. First was the scenic train which was an adventure in itself. Very rustic. Also included some free drinks. A sweet cake. Dancers and history from sweet pea our guide. After there was a bus ride back to port with more island information. Good to do once. It is a little pricey. Second was the 4x4 rainforest excursion which was really like a best of. Some history and sights around Basseterre a drive up some rougher roads into the rainforest with scenic views. Then a drive back through Timothy Hill and about an hour at the black sand Frigate Bay beach
