Review summary

Overall my friend and I had a great time. The Ocean Medallion was very easy to use and made embarking and disembarking a breeze. Princess never fails to live up to our expectations. The Palm Dining Room, a bit difficult to get to, had great service and most evenings it was difficult to decide upon what to eat there were so many choices.

For some reason, I was not able to give a complete review. The excursion bought through Princess in Routan was a complete disaster. The Cultural Tour of the Garifuna People (Tour 100A) was over sold. We were stuffed into one of those tiny tour buses with a nonfunctioning air conditioner. If there had been an accident, we could not have gotten off the bus. After our first stop for a short boat ride around the port, the tour company sent a second bus and the group was divided. The ride to the Garifuna Village was 50 minutes each way with little to see. The visit to the Village lasted for 10-15 minutes where a dance was performed and we were offered a taste of homemade bread. The vendors at the village were relentless. Don’t waste your money!
