Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Bars, Casino, Bingo; Everything cost money. Only “free” activity was the pools which were so full no one else could get in. Unattended kids jumping and diving when Clearly Marked Not To!

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Couldn’t get to the stage shows as we were not done with dinner in time for the first showing. Music was tolerable at best and absolutely to loud to carry on a conversation.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
First week our room did NOT get vacuumed nor did the sheets get changed. Second week was better. Willy & Jerry were Fantastic in the dining areas. Roberto was also very very helpful

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
While the crew did their best to keep up with the trash, plates, and drinks they were still in the elevators and other public places. The layout is NOT disabled friendly at all & very confusing

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Comfort & size we made work for 2 people Thankfully we were related; Tried to get upgraded before we ever got on the ship & never happened. We were told to wait wait wait. I asked before we set sail can we be put on a list that as soon as a balcony room becomes available we’re Happy to pay to upgrade, never happened

Ship tip

As for Caribbean Princess; We personally will NEVER go on that Ship again & I’m not sure I can even get my Mother on another Princess Ship that’s how Disappointed She Was!

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Very confusing & the people working there were very rude

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

While it maybe Princesses Privet or Exclusive Island as soon as you step in the Ocean it’s Very Slick, Slimy, Sharp rocks! On our cruise I know of 3 people that cut there feet open, it’s Horrible for swimming!

Yes, too many people just like to drop their trash and walk away, not just Americans, others too. We booked an inside room once, never again. Balcony or window only (unless a good suite deal arrives), but you can not blame the ship for your ‘stupidity’ in booking inside, they are usually fully booked some weeks in advance and if this was your first cruise, you are way down on the list to move up into a cancellation. Not sure on the vacuum issue, I know that we have always had clean rooms each day. Music too loud, odd, my complaint is that it is not loud enough to get over the rude people talking.....each to their own priorities.
