Review summary

Food in main dining room was "just okay," about what you would expect for catered dinner at a so-so wedding. On day one, I thought the buffet choices were good. By day seven, the same exact choices had grown tiresome. The room steward was great and some of the staff were wonderfully friendly. Some, however, were a little bit surly. The finishes were nice enough, in concept, but they have grown a little thread-bare in actual appearance. Time for a renovation.

I kinda agree with your food comments; but I guess this means every wedding I've been to was so-so. I'd still say the Princess MDR beats both Carnival and RCCL

Terry is right the refit was done in March of 2017 to the tune of $8.5 million. We were on the Caribbean Princess in January and never noticed her being thread bare. Be on her next month and will keep an eye out for wear and tear.

The Caribbean Princess was completely refitted in 2017 so surprised to hear it appeared threadbare! It has an adult only pool aft on deck 14.

Lotus Spa pool is adults only and free to use. Limited seating but nice and quite.
