Review summary

Have written a complaint about conditions on board ship. as of this date 7/4/18 haven't not had any response. At this point of time I NEVER want to sail on a Princess Ship again.

Something wrong with your report Luana. One, the ship still has two propellers turning, one is limited in speed so the other has to turn slower to prevent vibration and tendency to turn. Two, having a bad propeller does NOT affect the AC or other power devices. The ship has diesel electrical generators that feed electricity to the rest of the ship, and to electric motors that drive the props. If the generators were bad, then I believe they would fix that since that does not require a dry dock (and I have seen reports of other cruise ships doing so).

I hate to say this but.., I contacted Princess before our cruise to make sure everything was ok because it is only sailing with one propeller they confirmed that was true but it is safe. We had two rooms, my husband and myself , then daughter her husband and grandson. At dinner our water in glasses were vibrating from the one propeller told asst matri di his answer was a couple nights in front of my 12 yr old grandson your husband is so excited under the table looking at you that’s what is causing the vibration. Are you kidding me there was 5 of us sitting at a table for four they couldn’t do anything about it. Room keys never worked. Sewage smell on elevator, air conditioning shut off in some areas to save from propeller broke. And ship isn’t going to dry dock to March 2019 and we already had a September cruise booked I filed a complaint with copies of concerns I placed before cruise I haven’t heard anything. I’ve cruise princess many times. They heard it so many times there numb about it. Staff at dining excellent food was good One man at guest relations said that’s ok I’ll stay here all night until I get answers.

Just remember this is one person's opinion. We too have sailed on the Caribbean Princess 2 or 3 times and never had any problems, we also have one scheduled in September and this review won't deter us from sailing. This is going to be our 19th Princess cruise and we will continue to cruise with Princess.

We were on that ship in June. Almost everything was awesome. The lotus spa had charged me twice!
