Review summary

Great trip, except for the shady charges by Princess. They're out to get every penny out of your wallet. It's hard to enjoy your vacation when you feel like you're being constantly ripped off by the company.

The supposed "unlimited" drink package is a sham. What they don't tell you is that there are MANY limitations, and you end up paying for most of your drinks, despite having the package. It's completely dishonest and really made me never want to cruise with this company again. When I tried to rectify the situation with the front desk, they basically told me "too bad." Ripping off your customers is bad business.

The bartenders on this ship were worse than any I've encountered. Every one of the bar staff was Filipino, and they were (except for two nice ones) miserable, unfriendly and rude.

Ship tip

Watch your bill, daily. Princess seems to tack on all sorts of charges and just hopes you don't notice. Once again, this is the number one turn off for me. I'm on vacation, and I don't like feeling like the company is fleecing me at every turn.

The all inclusive drink package has a limit of $10 per drink and 15 drinks per day. I asked even though I got it free with the sip n sail promotion

There is difference between the ultimate beverage package an the premiere beverage package.

Interesting comment about the drink package. We got the adult beverage package on our last 3 princess cruises and never had to pay a penny extra for any drinks we got. And believe me when I say we definitely got our money's worth🍾🍷🍸🍹🍺🍻🥂🥃!!!!!!

Every cruise I have had, the bar staff was very multi-cultured. The Filipinos are usually pleasant, hard working individuals (IMO).

Ok, you didn’t feel the drink pkg was worth it. How was the food in the MDR or specialty restaurants. Was your stateroom attended to properly. I’ve heard things about propulsion issues so can you give any insight about that.

I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Princess. We cruised twice on the carribean and once on the ruby and the only limitation we had was the specialty coffee which wasn't a big deal because the shot of Bailee's(included in drink pkg) we had every morning in them made it worth it and bottled water
