A so so cruise

Sail Date: October 07, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Some of the staff were not very freindly. Although the tips were being added to the tab daily, every time you received anything from room service or the bar or ice cream parlor they made sure they had a place for extra tips. Found them more expensive than other cruise lines we had been on.

Pros: Food was excellent. Entertainment terrific.

Cons: Could not get in any specialty restaurants. No bring on liquor allowed. Tipping automatically added to tab.

Recommends Caribbean Princess? No.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)
Had to stand in line almost an hour to get something to eat.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
We ate at Barefoots at the pier. we asked some of the locals where to go for some real local type food and they sent us there. The curried Chicken was fantastic. We got a cab and went exploring on our own. Had a blast. They have a Harley shop so we stopped there and bought souvenirs. People were very freindly had a blast.
