A great trip

Sail Date: December 24, 2006

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

This was our first cruise and it definitely surpassed all my expectations! The ship was beautiful, the staterooms were way bigger than I expected (and I didn't miss not having a window at all; we were never there), the food was superb, the staff very accommodating and the entertaiinment varied and fun. There were 21 of us -- ranging from 16 months to 75 years -- and the cruise was a great venue for the family to be together and yet pursue individual interests as well. I have nothing to complare it to but I would definitely recommend Princess to others.

Pros: The two days at sea and the opportunity to relax

Cons: Fitness classes filled up too quickly

Recommends Caribbean Princess? Yes!

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Magen Bay a great beach but too crowded. Shopping was disappointing; we expected better prices.
Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)
Food was surprisingly mediocre considering how good all the ohter food had been. Especially disappointing after waiting in line for what seemed like forever.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Went to Le Galion beach -- an amazing find! All locals, calm bay so great for kids, excellent outdoor restaurant right on the beach.
