Review summary

This was my first 5 day cruise and definitely no regrets. I had a great time, the staff was extremely helpful in all areas, a variety of activities that did not overlap each other and they catered to everyone’s dietary needs.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy and organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining was great, good food and great atmosphere. Buffet was good with a lot of variety.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty of activities. I enjoyed the Trivia games, theater shows, art auction, free massage, the night club and relaxing in the pool chairs.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great and I like the different types of shows each night

Children's Programs

No little kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The room steward was helpful and patient. He always cleaned the time frame I chose.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
All areas were clean all the time. The design was good unless you needed to go to the sports/play area. Very confusing to get to and no indoor access. Going area the edge of the ship and maneuvering around lounge chairs was difficult is some weather conditions.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Everything was great and comfortable. Plenty of space to move around

Ship tip

Family boat and not a party boat. There were several parties every night, but the design was for you to party in areas that did not disturb people in their rooms. That was great!

Ports of call

Disembarkation

There was a little confusion with the wheelchair assistance that could have been better. Instead of lining up early, they had us wait in a room while everyone lined up. They the attendant rushed and zig zagged through the crowd with the wheelchair and the family was rushing to keep up. Suggestion would be to line the wheelchair people up first so they are the first to get off and not inconvenience the rest of the guest.

Thanks for sharing your cruise experience and ship tip. Looks like you had a nice cruise. It’s a nice size ship for a shorter cruise. We enjoyed our cruise on Brilliance a few years ago.
