A fun, short cruise that leaves you feeling like it was real getaway-from-it-all adventure.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room & Izumi. Good food, very attentive service.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Used the Solarium pool and fitness center/sauna. Comfortable, clean & well-attended.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Very enjoyable. Nice variety of music offerings. Stage show performers gave terrific shows. Comedian Jeff was very entertaining.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great service by main dining staff, room stewards, and bar staff/servers.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Though it is an older ship, the interior design is very attractive. Common areas were very well-maintained. For me, one of the venues (the Pub) was unusable due to its location next to the smoke-filled casino.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great! Loved the shower - not for the size so much, but for the strong stream of water.

Ship tip

Best sail away in Florida. The music and dancing on deck is a lot of fun and sailing under the Sunshine Skyway Bridge is a thrill.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

Went to a private beach club.

George Town, Grand Cayman

We took a private tour of the island first and then we were dropped off at 7 Mile Beach. Rented chairs and an umbrella. This beach is rated one of the best in the Caribbean and rightly so. I learned from a local resident that it is also designated a protected National Marine Park. Therefore, I was disheartened to see that some cruise passengers do leave their trash behind on the sand. I later was talking to some of the park workers who explained that at the end of each day, they do clean up the beach for the following day. Much appreciated.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Confusing, long lines, and not much instruction. The crew who managed this procedure were a bit short and rude.
