Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Not happy that the ship didn’t have the free style soda machine, if you want a soda you’ll have to wait in line at the bar to get your drink refilled. Not a fan.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Not a lot to do, casino was way to small, pool wasn’t very big, it was a smaller ship. Fitness center was a nice size and had plenty of exercise equipment.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was wonderful. Kim was our waitress in the main dinning, she was great.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was older and needs a makeover. Ship was clean, had no problems.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Did a inside cabin on this trip. Bed was a little hard for me but my wife thought it was good. Our cabin steward did a awesome job.

Ship tip

Don’t get the soda package, no free standing soda machines. Have to wait at the bar to get a refill, that at times could take awhile. We drank more punch that soda, they had punch machines everywhere. Don’t plan on playing at the casino. Casino was way to small for the amount of people on board. For us, we didn’t call it gambling, we called it donation to RC.

Thanks for sharing your cruise experience. Sounds like there were many parts of the cruise that you did enjoy and some parts that didn’t meet your expectations. Brilliance is a nice small ship but doesn’t have all the bells and whistles larger ships have.

Brilliance is an older ship, but still good for those that want a more traditional cruise experience.
