Review summary
This was our first experience sailing with Royal Carribean. We had sailed many times on another cruise line but wanted to give RC a chance. We were not impressed with the lack of communication from guest services. The furniture and decor is dated, the casino had an entire bank of machines turned off with buttons missing, like they used them as backup repair machines. The beds were uncomfortabled, our exterior patio window was dirty. Several items we pre-ordered for our room was never delivered, had to call multiple times to correct. A scheduled event was a no show, no one was advised it had been canceled, so we just sat there. Our room was supposed to have a drop down bunk, since my son's girlfriend was traveling with us, they ended up giving us a seperate room, our family was on two seperate floors for the entire trip. Due to fog our ship was delayed docking by 10 hours, so 7:30 a.m. ended up being a 6:30 p.m. disembarkment. We were required to leave our rooms early due to staff preparing for the next voyagers, there was so many families with children, seniors sitting in hallways. I wish it had been a better experience.Embarkation
