Review summary

Once you get on the ship it was great. But the debacle with the luggage held up at terminal 3 was unacceptable. Terminal 3 needs reorganization and direction.

Embarkation

Terminal 3 in Tampa needs to get their act together. They lost more luggage than I've ever experienced. They opened lots of luggage, took things out that we've taken on before, and trashed our things inside. They didn't bother to hold to sign up times for boarding. The people directing you had no clue and refused to listen. I was trying to get to valet to pay and they FORCED me into a line going onto the ship. I finally insisted they listen and got to leave that line and get into another unnecessary line where someone finally listened to me. Got to Valet and had to go to the back of a LONG line of everyone when they had time slots of 1 and 2 pm when I was there at 12 for my assigned slot. They have no idea what they are doing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
My servers were fabulous. The buffet was great and the service was wonderful. Just wish they had more servers in the buffet to bring coffee and drinks. Food was very good in all venues.

Onboard Activities

Solarium is my favorite spot to play. And that is where most mornings were spent.

Entertainment

OMG! The entertainment has been amazing. John Blair is wonderful as a cruise director. Just love the Las Vegas entertainers he brings in. The bar entertainment has been great. It's really nice to have a variety of places to go and just listen to music. Lots of different types as well.

Service and Staff

Dexter, my room steward was amazing. When I had luggage problems he was right there taking care of it. He is very personable and willing to assist with any requests. Sherma and Raquel were my waiter/assistant waiter. They were there (not hovering) when you needed something. They were always taking special requests and were pleased to please. I could not have asked for more.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship is old and outdated, but clean. It was headed for dry dock after my cruise. Hopefully they will redesign the rooms as well as the main decor of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

CLEANLINESS - Perfect. Dexter was wonderful. The room is outdated as is the ship. But it's going into drydock so I'm hoping they refurbish the cabins.

Ship tip

Just enjoy the experience.

Terminal 3 sucks!!! The people directing you have no clue. One lady is sending everyone to the elevators. When we should have been taking advantage of the escalators. GRIDLOCK at the elevators!!! Don't bother to look for your luggage by the numbers in the terminal because you won't find it with the numbers on the walls. They obviously don't know how to read numbers. My luggage was #29 and I finally found it at #2. When asked why I received a rude comment. They did fix the line for getting through customs though, finally. The last time I went through this terminal they split the lines out and one line never moved. Glad to see they fixed that..... They need some bigtime help.
