I booked this as a solo cruiser. I have cruised many times before. There is not a bad cruise in my book. My expectations were met, and I enjoyed the experience. A first time cruiser, family or others looking for a lot of action, music, and party times may be disappointed with the experience. The food at the Windjammer was always hot and tasty with lots of variety. The drinks were always good and served with a smile.
Embarkation

Great experience. From parking to Lido deck in 20 minutes.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
MDR was very disorganized, and wait lines were terrible for any time dining. They suggest you call to make a reservation, but telephones were never answered. It was not really a MDR experience.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Very boring. It was almost as if there was no Cruise Director. Saw him a total of 3 times, 2 of them at the end of production shows. Most activities were lame and they could not get the passengers engage. The whole trip was very mellow. If it wasn't for 2 groups of young cruisers, I would call this a sleepy cruise.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Shows were good. The Velvet Duo and the Las Vegas Tenors were awesome. Also enjoyed the Ukranian pianist and vilolinst.
Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Needs work. Ship is showing its age.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Ok for a solo cruiser. Missing modern amenities. Shows its age.
Ship tip
Set your expectations. It is a smaller, older ship. Do not expect all the flash and dazzle or you will be disappointed.
Not good. Again, the Cruise Director was no where to be seen. People started piling up on the debarkation deck and there was no rhyme or reason as to what was going on. We arrived at a different port than what we departed from, so people were very disappointed that they have to walk a lot. No directions, no crowd control, no transportation to parking. It was still a quick debarkation, but not thanks to RC or the Cruise Director crew.
