Review summary

I have never had anything stolen on as many cruises as we have taken in the past. On both legs of this cruise we had things stolen. We should have kept a closer eye on our Air Pods but was surprised that the security staff could have cared less about the stolen magnetic sign on our door. Then we were treated like we were the thief instead of the victim. Great staff in the Windjammer, cabin stewards, concierge and Diamond Lounge staff.

This review is a hard one. We had our Air Pods stolen on the first leg of this back to back and on this leg had someone steal our magnetic sign off our door. We reported it and filled out forms so that the camera could be checked for the thief. Security showed up at our cabin and completely tore the place apart looking for both items even though we had by then changed cabins. They wouldn't look at the cameras until they searched our room. It was a bad experience and we both felt violated. I don't think they ever checked the cameras because the night before the ship got back into port they said they hadn't any cameras in the Diamond Lounge or hallways.

Our cabin stewards on both legs of the back to back were excellent. Rooms were always clean and had fresh towels.

Nice room and balcony was excellent.

Ship tip

Don't expect much from security if you have any items stolen. We'll probably never fill out any forms knowing now how we will be treated. I think I have some stress still from the experience.

Maybe someone didn't think your door magnet was appropriate. (Or too enticing not to take.) As for your ear buds, they were stolen off your head, out if your pocket, or out of the room safe? Pretty amazing.

We always use the safe in the room (who knows how secure they are). Put phones etc in it whenever not in use. Maybe over kill but ua never know.
