Review summary

Overall this was one of our better experiences on RCCL. I am a huge Celebrity fan so I expect RCCL to hold up to their other line and they did a good job this time around.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very quick and efficient

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Better food in main dining room for dinner than on previous RCCL cruises. The buffets could have offered more variety. An offering of daily fresh options like stir fry would have been nice.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Fitness center is very nice. I could have done without all the forced adult pool activities like the belly flop contest. RCCL should leave those games to Carnival!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great service all the way around.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
As a Celebrity cruiser I noticed that with RCCL the attention to detail on cleanup in common areas was lacking. There would be empty cups and such left on table for far longer than expected. On several occasions we had to clean up a table at the coffee shop area in order to sit there.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Acceptable for an ocean view.

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

5 out of 5
Key West is always fun to visit.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and efficient.

Celebrity is owned by Royal C Corp and they also have about a 1/2 dozen ships based on Brilliance/radiance class gas turbine powered (not diesel) ships.
