Review summary

Brilliance of the seas is a beautiful ship with the majority of the staff being accommodating friendly and courteous.. As always in life I wont let a few bad apples ruin everyone else hard work. If you have children under the age of 4 I would leave them home not much entertainment to keep them busy on board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Dinner @minstrel on formal evening was a catastrophe. Galley screwed up and didn't have sufficient food. We had to wait an 45 min for main entrees. We got tired of waiting for our dessert we walked out. Our head waiter and assistant did everything possible to make up for it on our last night a board. The bartenders on the other hand were amazing, friendly, and made yummy drinks.

Onboard Activities

My husband and I were not able to enjoy the pool at all. Upon booking our reservation with our baby we were neglected to be informed that if the children arent potty trained they can't go swimming even in the kids section. So much fun dealing with a hot 9 month only. The lifeguards would even let me put her feet in. Mind you she was in swim diaper and bathing suit.

Children's Programs

The kids club is great my teen had a blast with all the kids and staff. They need to have more options for kids younger than 5 yrs

Service and Staff

My stateroom attendant was awesome. He was always friendly and attentive. The waiting staff and bartenders were great and friendly. The lifeguards on the other hand need an attitude adjust. They were rude and belittling if me and my family.

Ship tip

Incredibly difficult to enjoy your cruise with limited activities for infant and toddlers. The nursery staff was amazing with my baby let me relax for an hour or 2 at the end of my day.

I agree. We brought our 15 month old. There wasn't much for him to do.
