Review summary

Beautiful ship, with excellent service. Expect crowds and lines for meals, and crowded venues for the most popular shows and activities.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Chaotic check in. After boarding, hard to find a place to sit in the Windjammer. Elevators were in short supply so lots of crowding in that area.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Great service in the main dining room at dinner. Breakfast in the main dining room was not well organized. Expect to wait in line, be grouped in a large table with 12 people and then by the time they take your order and serve you two hours has gone by. Mostly we went to the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch. The main challenge was finding a place to sit, but mostly people were good about letting you fill in the empty seats at their table. Food at the Windjammer was mostly good, and so was the table service.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Good entertainment and great service. Sometimes the Schooner Bar was crowded depending on the schedule of other entertainment and venues.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The ship casino was very immaculate and impressive. It offered a variety of different types of gaming. We weren't choked up by smoke as others previously had commented.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Cabin steward was super and our cabins was very clean and well maintained. Overall the ship was immaculate. Ship personnel were kind and friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was well maintained and kept in immaculate condition. The layout of the ship fine, and plenty of signs to help you find things.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Although it was an interior cabin, it was a little more spacious than on other ships. Comfortable beds, and enough room to leave as a king bed and still get access from both sides. Cabin was well maintained and kept in immaculate condition.

Ship tip

A fine ship, with lots of activities and entertainment. Larger crowds and more lines than I previously encountered on other ships. Sea conditions were choppy (especially on the way south). This translated into a constant slow roll of the ship (Dramamine, etc).

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

Pier 6 featured chaotic check in for passengers. Disembarkation went a little better though. Seemed like the facility had ample parking.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation seemed well organized and things went fairly smoothly and quickly. We found our luggage quickly and made it through customs efficiently. Amazing since check in was such a harrowing experience.
