Review summary

Excellent time aboard with friendly staff, some great ports... only downside was rough seas in bay if biscay, but that was just bad luck as can happen at any time of year.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Good choice of options in Thistle restaurent, and also Palms (free style buffet). Quality excellent, portions of a smaller size than you sometimes get (but you can ask for more), so good way to not overeat on the cruise

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Often lots going on, but less choice on this smaller ship than the mega ships... but for many onboard that was a bonus as they had plenty of time to just relax too

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Older ship, but well maintained and pleasant decor

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Largest cabin for a standard twin/double I have had in 5 cruises... older ship so not mega modern... but clean, tidy and amble for my needs for a week onboard. Very handy for access to amenities as in deck 6, with main restaurants and entertainment venues all easily accessible by stairs of lifts.
