Review summary

Excellent short break. We actually went into Amsterdam twice. Shuttle to Amsterdam was fine took about 40 minutes. Worth going on public ferries, as they are free.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We had one breakfast in the buffet, one lunch and one evening meal. The buffet was poor. Some of the food was inedible.I had a moussaka that had a gelatinous blob of ? cheese on top of a runny meat sub base.It was awful. Much of the food had little flavour. Breakfast was poor.Bacon was like a dried up insole, eggs were hard and sausages economy.Generally lacking in flavour. Evening meals in the restaurant were much better. Portions were miniscule although we could request extra. Steak was the best fare on offer. It was very good. Most other options looked good on the menu but were disapointing.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Really enjoyed Amsterdam.Vibrant but very, very crowded. If you are going on canal trip go early and use one of the small boats. They go down the small canals. Much more interesting.
